Mission Statement

It is the mission of Witchy Living to provide quality goods and honest services at a fair price to witches who seek what we offer, to distribute information regarding traditional and other paths of witchcraft, and to host and to provide an online community/chat and podcast as open places to ask questions and exchange ideas. We do not discriminate in any manner based on sex, race, handicap, witchcraft path, or sexual orientation - all are welcome.

Philosophy

It is the philosophy of Witchy Living that witchcraft is NOT a religion, but rather is a craft unto itself without religious influence. It is a manner of being, a way of life, and a basic part of who witches are as human beings. Witchy Living believes that anyone can be a witch - Pagan, Christian, Jew, Wiccan, Muslim, Athiest, Satanist, etc - and that it is up to the individual to discover and resolve the issues or conflicts that may arise between one's religious path and one's craft. Other witches may feel differently, of course, and their opinions and traditions are respected. We all (should) walk the path that is true and correct for ourselves, and in that mindset it is the promise of Witchy Living to welcome all who enter our shop and websites with good intent.

A Message to Overbearing Religious Proselytizers & Witchy Critics

As stated above, it is the belief of Witchy Living, and therefore ME, Cairelle, this website's creator and owner, that we all walk the path that is true and correct for ourselves. What this means is that my craft and the manner in which I choose to live it is my choice - and nothing you do or say is going to change that fact.

While I do support - a very tiny miniscule bit, mind you - a person's right to express their (often incorrect and narrow-minded) critical views of witchcraft, I do ask that they please do so in a manner that does not involve my inbox. I know who I am - I am very comforable and happy with it - and I am not interested in getting emails that inform me of the wicked, incorrect, evil, and/or unethical manner in which I live my craft. It is my suggestion that these critics should look to themselves and ask what is missing in their life that they feel they must harass a person who has wished them no ill nor done them any harm.

Thank you for respecting the path that I (and my website's patrons) choose to walk,

Kim Cairelle Perilloux
